Marvell Consulting brings expertise from GOV.UK to GOV.CY

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been awarded a place on Cyprus’s Framework for the Digital Transformation of Government Services.

We’re one of a group of organisations that make up their diverse supplier base to help Cyprus transform their digital services. With fluent Greek speakers on the team and numerous Cypriot friends, we thought this was an opportunity we couldn’t miss out on.

In July 2022 the Cypriot government announced the release of GOV.CY. They’d been working with the UK’s Government Digital Service who had been sharing knowledge, expertise and best practices to improve the design and delivery of their digital services. This work resulted in some great outcomes, such as creating:

• a digital service standard, outlining best practices for building digital services
• the Digital Services Factory, the team spearheading this transformation
• a design system, ensuring consistent, quality design patterns are followed
• a wealth of other supporting guidance, covering everything from agile ways of working to understanding users needs.

All of this to help transform their digital service to better serve the needs of their citizens and businesses. So far, they’ve identified 150 high-priority public user-facing services to transform, and there are hundreds more beyond that.

And this is why we’re so excited.

At Marvell, we’ve got extensive experience in helping teams and departments across the UK government build services and capabilities to meet such digital service standards.

We’ve helped transform big and complex services, as well as smaller and more nimble services. We've covered subject areas including visas and immigration, biosciences, and counterterrorism. So we're hoping that we can bring some of that experience and share it with Cypriot colleagues.

We can’t wait to join the Cypriot Government as they embark on their transformative journey, making things simpler, faster and better for the people of Cyprus.
